Yes, wipes. Sometimes you just have to use something to realize the value of the product. I have kept a package of promotional wipes in my car and purse for over a year. Suddenly, I found that I can’t live without them. Traveling, administering to folks I don’t even know, a wet wipe is needed in one’s life.
The case for imprinted wipes need not be made. It is low cost, not bulky and appreciated. It works on so many levels and three years ago who knew? I suggest this promotional product for wellness programs, (clean up that exercise equipment before having a go), kid’s programs (they are always going), elderly programs (they seem to very susceptible to germs), and anything to do with work (perfect tradeshow item) or home. Well I think that covers it. It is cold season and if you are looking for one place to brand with a good imprint area and stay around, this is it. A bag that is waterproof? There is such an animal and it is perfect for taking to the beach, boating, hiking in the rain - even designed for rugged adventure travel. The material? It is called Tarpuline PVC. The bags become completely waterproof with a roll down closure that keeps out water, mud, sand-the elements. There are multiple decoration methods including on the zipper pull and the outside of the bag.
The small bag is perfect for a camera, phone, wallet or PDA. I have the Roll Top Duffel and love its flexibility to go anywhere. The blue, grey and black coloring is fashionable yet kind of industrial looking in a good way. The bags are great to use for rugged dependability themes, like, "Don’t go unprotected or a Brand that withstands the elements. " The product is something new and folks love to share their latest toys so think Hydro-Pac bags and let your brand do the talking! One more find, check out the Gear travel bag . It is the one bag to pack for week long travel trips. I tested it out and it is perfect to use for sales incentives or year end gifts for your traveling sales staff. They will love you for it! And it is $100 off!

After nearly twenty years in the promotional product industry I have great hopes that the growing interest in environmentally friendly products is here to stay this time. When I first entered this profession I made the search to find recycled promo items and create a comprehensive file of the best products available, my quest. I developed a list of companies and individual products to pitch to my green clients. It was a hard sell and though I made a few sales over a couple of years the product selection fell off and there were fewer and fewer options for the buyer. Now, with renewed interest, and Al Gore, we have selections such as recycled glass available in the awards category, notepad trays made from sawdust and even shirts made from bamboo . In our file of environmentally friendly products you will find a sampling of what is available to leave a smaller carbon footprint on the earth. Coloring books informing of ways to recycle are among the new options to market to the young ones.We hope you will support this marketing direction as we all will prosper from conscious branding and more promotional items will be created with the objective to educate and advise of the shift that needs paying attention to for the survival of future generations. Booth attendance has been proven to increase by using pre-show promotional/incentive mailings to registered attendees. I have to tout the results from a marketing survey researched by Georgia Southern University Marketing faculty and published in 2004 by PPAI. The results show those that received a mailer only increased booth traffic by 23%, those that received a mailer and a magnet 36% increase and the mailer and the offer of a free t-shirt at the booth 41%. These numbers are phenomenal when it comes to creating traffic to justify your very expensive tradeshow investment (booth, manpower, travel, exhibit rental, etc). Capturing ROI is of outmost importance unless you just like spending time, money and energy with no return. If you can't talk to them you can't sell to them.
Two years ago I sent a mailer to registered attendees for the Seattle Corporate Gift show with the promise of a tote bag if they presented the mailer at my booth. This is no exaggeration; folks were lined up in front of our booth “waving” their mailers when the doors first opened. It works folks and if you want to grab someone’s ear for a few extra minutes at a tradeshow, use a promotional product that has value for the attendee. Top Ideas are totes , umbrellas , badge holders , luggage spotters and water bottles . Be first to comment this article | Quote this article on your site | Views: 557 |

Let's talk about our evolving industry and forging “a name for ourselves”. When I talk about “us” I am including the broader scope of the entire advertising specialty industry. Ever since I started in this business almost twenty years ago I have felt a stigma when I stated what I did for a living. I have had many careers and even while still selling promotional products, I was the brand manager for Jewel. I love marketing and branding and it has been a secret passion of mine to establish our industry in the mind of consumers and buyers both, that we are in the business of marketing and advertising and not the ugly stepchild. So, I feel a bit redeemed as I blog today. Last year I wondered why Promopeddler.com wasn’t listed among the Top 50 Marketing firms when the Portland Business Journal compiled their ranking list every year. I questioned our absence last year after the list was revealed and made certain PBJ understood what we did as a company. So, early this Spring I received an e-mail asking for our information to be considered for the list. Out of the Top 50, we placed #8. I think this is a big day for ‘the Advertising Specialty Industry” and just a sign of things to come. Time to raise our glasses and toast to being allowed into the esteemed “marketing” club!
