I would send out a postcard, no sooner then two weeks prior to the event, and introduce your bank. Encourage them to save for a 'rainy day fund' and reinforce the idea by giving away an umbrella. Why not try the USB plug in mug warmer , or Ipod speakers , a a usb extension or a a 4 port hub . All of these products have replaced many of the typical desktop items these days. If you want to see somebody's face light up try giving one of these promotional items away and if they do not know what it is, once explained, it won't be long before they'll be using it on a daily basis.
