Every year we march down the aisles of the industry tradeshow scouring the booths for some new 'thing'. Let me qualify 'thing’: A product that has wide applications across many industries with an area to imprint a message, company logo, or perhaps a personalization that is really cool and innovative. Here is my pick for 2007, the Cubisto.

It is probably difficult to grasp the possibilities of this product, so I placed a massage roller inside the pliable (like very stiff, thick saran wrap) plastic that holds whatever you sandwich in between it's layers in place. In our last mailing we sent out a message imprinted on a river rock  and sandwiched it in the smaller sized frame.

Have you ever seen a rock float? Anything is possible. Brands that rock. I could go on. The consumer market is so inundated nowadays with the same old stuff you have to really be creative to stand out and catch someone’s attention. You can introduce new product rollouts, medals with two sided imprints, the more the 3-D attributes the more fun it is to present it in this manner. The top has lego like connector pieces so in theory, if you were to send out a series of something, say cupie dolls, then you could stack them up! Now there is another idea! It could be used in a window display introducing a new product. The idea would be to stack hundreds of them all floating the same object. Repetition in a pattern-like display can really make an impression. I challenge you to use this product and send me pictures of how you incorporated it into your promotion!
