The holidays can be tricky when it comes to corporate gift giving. There are so many different holiday traditions that it's difficult to know what is appropriate to give a business client. Loyal clients should always be rewarded with an imprinted holiday gift . Early fall is a great time to review your performance in the past year. Identify the clients who spent the most money, purchased most frequently or went out of their way to refer new clients. Reward these loyal clients with a holiday gift that shows your appreciation for their business and your desire to maintain that relationship in the coming year. The most memorable imprinted holiday gifts are those that come early in the season. Keep in mind that the Hanukkah season may start well before Christmas. So, it's best to start sending out holiday gifts in early December. This gives your clients time to enjoy a gift before departing for holiday vacation. If your gift is one of the first received, it will be more memorable and leave a stronger impression on the recipient. Gifting before Thanksgiving is becoming popular because it has no religious overtones, strictly saying “Thanks.” If procrastination gets the best of you, all is not lost. A New Year's imprinted holiday gift in January can be a great gesture. It will be a pleasant surprise for a client returning from their holiday vacation. It can also be equally as memorable as a holiday gift because it arrives after the holiday rush. Even when a holiday gift is not perfectly timed, generosity is always appreciated along with a handwritten note.
